TOASTBUSTERS CLUB Meeting #284, Wednesday, August 02, 2023

Toastmaster of the day, Anna R., had everyone ponder the question:

What word comes to your mind first when you think of summer and why? ☀️

Magic! Every person has a summer, and every summer has a story!

We heard a long string of amazing mini-stories about friendship, dacha, lightness, sea, beer, and summer songs.

Four speakers delivered their thought-provoking speeches. Tatyana O. said that a person has not one brain 🧠, but three. We learned 🤘🏻how to cope with the police in Armenia (Samira D.), and 🌍 how to resolve conflicts and make peace through shared interests (Valeria Kh.). Our member Myles F. continued the line of social speeches with a touching eulogy for his Grandmother.

The great honour for us was to welcome four-time Distinguished Toastmaster, Michael T., to a regular meeting of our club. The great power of Toastmasters International is that every member has a chance to receive feedback from the distinguished speakers all over the globe.
