It seemed to us that Toastmaster Svetlana D. knew everything about us. And all because she was well prepared for the meeting. Before the meeting, she interviewed everyone she invited to the stage.

In the morning on the day of the meeting, Svetlana asked the functionaries and speakers to share some details about themselves. She asked each person what they thought would be worth mentioning while introducing them to the audience,  and what makes them laugh :)

Such a simple approach usually makes meetings warmer and friendlier. Every person likes to hear a little something about themselves.

Beginners in public speaking and undertaking the role of the master of ceremonies should take note of this approach; it allows you to develop communication skills.

We also heard some anecdotes and stories which made us laugh, as well as tons of advice from experts and evaluators.

Meeting together gives us an opportunity to grow. Your first Toastbusters meeting is only the start of the journey.
